Dress comfortably o No metal o No underwire bras o No belt buckles, zippers, etc. o Remove all jewelry and piercings
Notify your provider or the technologist if you are, or think you might be pregnant
Do not eat anything for 4 hours prior to the exam
Drink plenty of water
If your exam requires contrast, you will need labs completed. You may come in for labs up to 14 days prior to the exam to avoid an hour wait on the day of the exam.
