CBCC prioritizes men’s health by offering prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood tests for men ages 45+. In recognition of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, PSA blood tests are offered for FREE this September.

Breast Cancer Awareness Screening Mammograms
The CBCC Breast Health Center strives to educate our community on the importance of early detection and prevention against breast cancer. In addition to at home monthly self-breast exams, all women age 40+, or younger with a family history of breast cancer, should complete a screening mammogram yearly.
During the month of October, CBCC offers the lowest 3D screening mammogram cash-pay price in Bakersfield, and partners with Links for Life to provide co-pay financial assistance for those in need.

Free Lung Cancer Screenings ALL November
In honor of November as Lung Cancer Awareness Month, CBCC offers FREE low-dose CT scans for qualifying men and women ages 50 – 80 years old with a history of smoking. Outsmart lung cancer by catching it early, before symptoms arise.
