We're Committed to Cancer Research.
Help Transform the Lives of Millions
Participating in research is one of the most powerful things you can do to contribute to and reap the benefits of tomorrow's health care breakthroughs. At Comprehensive Blood & Cancer Center, our clinical trials give patients access to the newest treatments and therapies.
CBCC has earned a reputation as a leader in research by participating in every significant clinical trial since the mid-1980s. That means our patients have always had early access to new treatments before they are widely available. In fact, we have often been selected to be among an exclusive and elite group of cancer centers to test state-of-the-art therapies.
With our robust portfolio of clinical trials, CBCC remains firmly established at the forefront of cancer research and we have opportunities for a wide variety of patients who are at different points in their cancer journeys. If our tumor board believes you could potentially benefit from participation in a clinical trial, we will identify appropriate studies and fully educate you and your loved ones to help you make an informed choice about whether to enroll.
Of course, a decision to participate in a clinical trial is highly personal, and that decision belongs to you alone. Additionally, once you elect to participate, you can opt out at any time for any reason (or no reason at all).
If you choose to participate in clinical trials at CBCC, you can have peace of mind in knowing that you are being closely and continually monitored by multiple experts who are committed to protecting your health, safety and well-being.
UCLA Clinical Trial Sponsorship
After a careful review process, CBCC is proud to have been the only Central Valley cancer center selected as a research site by the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center TRIO-US. As a part of the TRIO-US network, CBCC patients can participate in clinical trials brought to us by the UCLA Clinical Research Unit. Our dedication to excellence and commitment to research earned CBCC this prestigious designation and allows us to offer the additional benefits of a leading academic cancer center to our patients here at home.
