Pradip Rustagi, MD FACP

Medical Oncologist & Hematologist

Dr. Pradip Rustagi is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and specializes in Oncology & Hematology. He completed his medical degree and residency at Ohio State University after graduating from Stanford University. He went on to obtain a fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology from Duke University before joining the medical faculties of the State University of New York at Buffalo and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Dr. Rustagi joined the Comprehensive Blood & Cancer Center team in December of 2014, after being in private practice for 17 years. While in private practice, Dr. Rustagi was an adjunct clinical associate professor of medicine at Stanford University. During his career thus far he has authored and been published in several scientific leading peer journals. He is also a member of numerous professional societies, such as American Society of Hematology, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Dr. Rustagi specializes in hematologic malignancies including lymphomas hemostasis, thrombosis, general hematology, as well as general medical oncology including breast, colon and lung cancers. He is also currently participating in clinical trials.

Dr. Rustagi was very kind to us, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to get to know my dad and his medical history. Dr. Rugasti also ran tests that the hematologist that we have been seeing for a few months hadn’t mentioned. The only barrier we have to not being treated by him, is that he doesn’t take my dad’s insurance.
