Nina Samsami, PhD

Chief Physicist

Nina Samsami received her Master’s and Ph.D. degrees from Michigan State University. She finished her residency in Medical Physics at Medical College of Ohio and received her American College of Radiology board certification in therapy shortly after.

Samsami worked at Ohio State University’s James Cancer Hospital in the radiation oncology department for sixteen years and coordinated treatment planning systems, collaborated on several publications and presentations, and wrote a chapter on radiation safety programs in a brachytherapy reference book. She has vast knowledge and experience with state and federal safety regulations.

Samsami joined the CBCC team in 2011, specializing in the calibration of linear accelerators, as well as handling radioactive materials and planning for prostate and gynecological patients.

During her free time, Samsami enjoys doing various charity work in different counties.
