Jessica is a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in Oncology and Dermatology. Graduating from Bakersfield College in 2016 as a Registered Nurse, Jessica began her career at Dignity Health Infusion Center in collaboration with CBCC, where she specialized in oncology. During this time, she developed a deep passion for supporting and healing patients battling cancer.
In 2019, Jessica earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Bakersfield. She continued to work in the oncology field from 2016 to 2023, gaining extensive experience and expertise in cancer care.
Driven by a commitment to further her education and expand her scope of practice, Jessica returned to California State University, Bakersfield, to pursue a Master’s degree. In 2023, she graduated as a Nurse Practitioner, ready to take on new challenges in healthcare.
Transitioning from oncology to dermatology, Jessica now specializes in performing skin exams, assessing for skin cancer, and educating patients about the importance of sun protection and early detection. Her goal is to deliver comprehensive care while empowering patients with essential knowledge to maintain healthy skin and detect skin cancer early.
Outside of her professional life, Jessica enjoys spending quality time with her son, walking her Doberman, cooking, and cherishing moments with her family. Her diverse interests and strong family values contribute to her well-rounded and empathetic approach to patient care.
