Dr. David Kanamori is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology & Hematology. He completed his residency at Southern Illinois University after graduating from Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University in Lima, Peru. He went on to complete his fellowship in Oncology and Hematology at Medical College of Virginia Hospitals, Virginia.
Dr. Kanamori is a prolific speaker and researcher. He has been and continues to be actively involved in a number of oncology research projects and is published in leading peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of an assortment of professional societies including American College of Physicians, American Society of Hematology, American Society of Oncology, Medical Oncology Association of Southern California, and Kern County Medical Society.
Practicing since 1999 and speaking both fluent English and Spanish, Dr. Kanamori is an attending physician at all major hospitals in Kern County.
