Why PA? – I am passionate about medicine and serving people but also family is really important to me. Being a PA allows me to pursue my passion while still having a good work/life balance.

Why Dermatology? – I enjoy giving people suffering from mildly frustrating to completely debilitating skin diseases a sense of control and dignity, and for some even their life back.  I also really enjoy the surgical and procedural aspect of dermatology as I find a lot of fulfillment removing both malignant and benign lesions that can be very troubling for people.

Most patient, understanding, caring physician I’ve experienced out of about 30 I’ve encountered trying to figure out what is wrong with me. He took the time to listen me, ask questions, and take my suspicions seriously. Had my blood tested for something he didn’t really feel needed to be, but did so to ease my mind when no other doctor would. Turns out I happened to be right and he’s assembled an impressive team of specialists to help figure this out. I really appreciate his bedside manor and kindness. He’s perfect for his occupation.

Darren was extremely professional. He made me feel at ease with the procedure (checking for and removing several moles) and explained everything beforehand. He has a very calm demeanor and very nice personality. The procedure went very well.
